Tigger Club Rules

• All participants at sessions are expected to abide by the British Gymnastics Trampolining Safety Code (reprinted overleaf) and the British Gymnastics Trampolining Code of Practice for pupils which additionally states:

i) Always inform the coach of any medical condition or medication which could affect performance.
ii) Always inform the coach of any accident in the last six months which resulted in unconsciousness from a blow to the head.
iii) Pay attention when spotting
iv) Avoid getting involved in ‘tests of daring.’

• Comberton Tiggers condemns all forms of bullying as unacceptable behaviour. Parents are encouraged to contact a welfare officer if they are anxious that his or her child may be a bully or is being bullied.

• Parents are welcome to watch from the side of the gym, but must not distract the coach when they are teaching or their child while they are bouncing or spotting.

• Primary School children must be collected and dropped off at the gym (not outside the building) by a responsible adult.

• Secondary School children’s parents must complete a permission slip before their child can leave the gym unaccompanied at the end of a session.

• Ask a coach, not your parent, if you need to leave the gym during a session for any reason. Inform them when you return.

• No eating or drinking around the trampolines. A bottle of water/juice should be brought to every session but kept at the side of the gym.

• Any spectators under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult

• Do not attend your term-time trampolining session if you have not been at school that day.

• Do not attend trampolining within 48 hours of sickness / diahorrea.

• Do not attend trampolining if you are not fit to bounce
